maybe because their budgets are bigger giving them more feedom to take big movies which rakes in more audience than low budget movies..
moreover hindi is the national language in india..so obviously their movies will be bigger and more extravagent..

i think because bollywood movies can be created with a low budget whereas hollywood only make movies with a big budget.
